DIY Glitter Champagne Bottle

Hey Everyone!!! I haven't posted in quite awhile, so here we go. My best friend is turning 21 so I decided to decorate a champagne bottle for her! This bottle I used two different glitter colors to create an ombre look.

*Just a forewarning, you should do this outside or someplace where you don't mind seeing glitter for 2 weeks! I made the mistake of doing it on my patio and I literally had to vacuum the glitter between the bricks! Uhh such a mess :)

1. Prepare your glitter. I set mine up on three different plates. A pink one, a gold one and a mixture of the both!

2. Remove the Label. The next step is to remove the label, try to get as much off as you can and then soak the bottle in a bowl of hot water for about 5 minutes. The rest should peel right off!

3. Spray Adhesive. Now I sprayed a portion of the bottle with spray adhesive. You can find this at any craft store. I bought mine from Jo Ann Fabrics. Over a plate, sprinkle the darkest glitter on the portion of the bottle you sprayed! Mine would be pink!

4. Glitter!!! Now spray the next portion of the bottle with your spray adhesive and use the mixture of your two colors, so I mixed pink and gold!

*See how nicely it blended! Especially on the plate lol!

5. More Glitter! Now we are going to use the lightest color, so mine is gold. Again, spray the portion you have left with spray adhesive and cover in your lightest color! You will really be able to tell its ombre after the last color!

And Voila! Here is your finished product!

I had a lot of fun making this bottle, but I CANNOT repeat enough do it outside!!

Until next time,
Cal
